The main goal is to experience the evolution of Bollywood Dance from the beginning of its origins in Classical Indian Dance into modern day Magical Bollywood. Workshop Description: Step into the world of glamour with exciting dance moves from the Bollywood Film Industry! In just three hours, Jaya Vaswani will take you on a tour of India and guarantees you will walk out feeling like you’ve joined a Bollywood musical! You will learn everything from the basics of Classical Indian Dance, with its intrinsic details in hand gestures, footwork and facial expressions, to a high-energy choreography piece with the use of music from the world renowned Bollywood Film Industry.

Her credibility comes from her training in London, England and Los Angeles, CA where she has worked with theatrical and fusion dominated dance companies such as Blue13 Dance, Taal Dance Company, and Rax Entertainment. In Los Angeles, she has had the pleasure of featuring in commercials and music videos, namely Shahab Tiam’s ‘Dokhtare Kaboli’ music video. Another awesome tidbit on Jaya is that she has personally shared dance space and worked with Lotus Favorite “Tribal” DJ….Cheb I Sabbah! Currently residing in S.
