World Dance Celebration and Festival

The Cultural Arts and Dance Association is pleased to announce our first annual World Dance Celebration, Festival and Gala Showcase, Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 10:00am to 9:00pm. This event will be held at the wonderful Historic Hoover Theater in San Jose (across the street from the Rosicrucian Museum). We selected this location because of its easy access for the community (both presenters/vendors and audience), the abundance of free parking and the overall pleasant feel and mood of the venue and surrounding community! We are excited to present this event, for it will give individual performers, dance studios and dance companies across the Bay Area an opportunity to show their talents and love for dance while entertaining an audience of dance lovers throughout the day. The festival will include: food and shopping vendors, professional presentations through mini workshops and demonstrations, festival dancing throughout the day and an evening festival showcase and gala featuring world dance presented by some of the finest community dance companies in the Bay Area.
