Join Aubre in this weekend intensive designed for intermediate and advanced dancers interested in pushing their dance into the practice of art. Focus & presence, addressing stage fright & fears, theatre conventions, effort & space, emotional & theatrical exercises, developing choreography, and how to improv. We will also be learning a full choreography (one Raqs Sharqi & one fusion that dancers can choose from) as well as developing solos of each dancer’s choice. These will be presented in a full show Sunday evening. This experience is created to intensively focus on performing in a way you cannot do within regular classes. Be ready to sweaty, cry, laugh, and transform your dancing!

A complete schedule and homework items will be sent upon registration. There are limited spaces for this intensive in order to keep an intimate group setting for the work we will be doing.

The entire intensive and show is held at The Center of Worldance (230 West Main St., Alhambra, CA 91801).
